General Info.
  • Join one of the fastest-growing sports in the Northeast!
  • Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34" at the center.
  • It's played with a ball similar to a whiffle ball and a wooden or composite paddle.
  • It's easy for beginners to learn, but it can develop quickly into a fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
  • Equipment will be provided if needed.
  • We offer a variety of lessons for all types of players, from beginner to advanced.
  • All lessons are held at Mashpee Pickleball Courts, 162 Ashumet Rd., off of Route 130.
  • Instructor: Arlene Petrunich, IPTPA Certified Pickleball Coach
  • Types of lessons (Skills & Drills):
  • Pickleball 101 - This clinic will teach the basics of pickleball and then some for the beginner. Each clinic is the same...this is not a progressive clinic over 3 weeks, instead it is meant to allow different players to learn the game each week. Please only sign up for one of the 6 classes offered.
  • Advanced Beginner - Series of progressive drills will be taught with each week focusing on a new set of skills.
  • Intermediate Skills & Drills and Play! - This is a new format with one hour of skils followed by a half hour of playing doubles with the instructor!
  • Intense Drills for the Advanced Player - Each clinic will focus on a specific wet of drills. Sign up separately for each week. Three separate classes will be offered:
  • Volleys and blocking bangers
  • The Drop Shot
  • The lift and overhead smash
